Ugg Brand Gloves

Let me start off by saying that I have the WORST circulation in my hands, I blame the 10 years I did hairdressing for.

I alway have stone cold Hands and Feet, Luckily for my feet I live in Ugg boots in winter so there is no problem there. My uggs keep my toes all warm and toasty and I had a sudden epiphany what if Ugg made Gloves too?

Now I buy the Ugg Brand made in Australia not the Ugg brand that sell to USA and other countries claiming Australia Uggs but made in China.


I happend to find a kiosk at the shopping centre that my older sister and I visited on the weekend where I bought my ugg boots from a month or two ago and sure enough they had gloves!

The had a range of sheep skin and leather gloves with the furry collar around the wrist or with out. As you can see I got the plain leather with out the collar. These wear pricey at $70.00, I actually walked away from them at first (I was trying to be smart) and went on with my day shopping. A hour latter I came back I figured it was a investment as I don't actually own any gloves, That and my sister did a good job of convincing me. So I bought the gloves in a medium size. Latter that night I went to a friends house that might as well be a igloo, silly girl hasn't had her gas heater installed yet. Luckily my gloves where sill in my car. I couldn't wait to put them on... 

First off these are thick and kind of awkward. I couldn't do much with them on but boy did they keep my fingers warm. Usually my fingers become like stone, so much though that I actually have to gently move them to try and stop them seizing up on me up them. My gloves kept the out side of my fingers warm (not as toasty as my ugg boots) just enough to not have to steal my friends hot water bottle and to bend my fingers comfortably so i could drive HAHAHA. 

I think maybe if I  had to put my gloves on before they actually got cold it would have worked a charm but I had to eat my Ben and jerry's clusterfluff ice cream that she served. (FYI clusterfluff is amazing it is basically peanut butter ice cream and marshmallows and clusters of nuts) Which didn't help with the cold, but was amazing!

It Is All On This Week!

So they no new's is good news, right?

This is my last week in Sydney before I head back to US of A for two weeks, I have been franticly trying to make beauty appointments, juggling work, eofy and meetings as well as catching up with friends before my final farewell/ pre-birthday Dinner and Drinks on Friday night.

God I love post it notes, Make life so much easier.

I still have not received my Tupperware order so I haven't even been baking. I did do a little bit of a shop at my local wheel and barrow shop on saturday which reminds me I have yet to even take the bag out of my car. Im so bad like that, the other day I was cleaning my room and found a mac shopping bag with a treat or two that I forgot to unpack. Im staying snuggly in myAvengers onesie when I can, I've been drinking lots of T2 Melbourne Breakfast Tea with Marco Pure honey in my T2 Pink travel Mug.

Nothing else really exciting to report. I think I have decided to download the game of thrones books for when I m away to read, I do watch the tv series which I'm so far behind on. I just caught up on the tv series Hannibal recently and thats my favorite, Thats how crazy its been.

I just realised that never mentioned I have braces which no one really cares about of course BUT I got news from my orthodontist that they will be coming off shortly which I cannot wait for! Ive decided that to celebrate when they do come off I will get my lips filled with Juvederm filler which I had done twice before and loved but quit when I started to have all this work done on my mouth and jaw which all started back in 2011. Thinking Strong !

O.. M.. G ... Avenger onsie

I came home to one of the best treats ever! My mother is amazing and I'm proberly the worst daughter ever and I do not appreciate her enough. 

I came home after a frantic day at work and as I have previously posted I haven't been my usual bubbly self and my mother left me a cute pink and white gift bag on my couch.

Like the cute bag wasn't enough the contents of the bag made my week.. No wait maybe the month. Yes the month May sucked there I said it!

Inside the cute pink gift bag was... A adulted Avengers onsie pajama suit! Oh my gosh!

Arrow Tv Series Finally - Rant About the Ending *spolier*

I don't know if any of you are Arrow fans or if I'm just a strange female that's particularly drawn to anything Marvel. If you are not a Arrow fan please just watch one episode you owe it to the main actor Stephen Amell who plays the billionaire (Oliver Queen) superhero (Green Arrow) who is a phenomenal actor with a impeccable body and seems to have a awesome personality which I've personally decided from his Facebook/twitter post's which makes him even more dreamy! 

I'm sad to say I finished the last episode tonight before bed and I m blogging about it now because I'm pretty full of adrenalin right now from that mind blow of a ending that I can't actually sleep anymore. The whole season was genius from his time on the island to his frustration adjusting to his life back at home. I do have a soft spot for the stunning actress Emily Bett Rickards who is the I.T wiz Felicity Smoak I like her style and I do love her awkward rumblings. 

For the finally I'm not going in to detail about the whole episode just the one major detail at the end... Tommy Dying... Like that's not massive enough, but it's right after he claims his undying love for Laurel Lance (played actress Katie Cassidy- personally I don't think Laurel is anything amazing she is ok looking but very plain Jane. Typical Miss perfect do gooder type) and previously just finds out his dad is a super villain. Like what the hell! What did Tommy ever do to anyone other then love laurel and run Oliver's club... Just goes to show you handsome rich men with good hearts don't exist anymore because a building collapse and kills them all...  No luck me finding one anytime soon. 

But honestly I wont hesitate to say it has been a honor to watch this tv series and hopefully I don't have to wait to long to watch season 2. I cannot wait to own Arrow on DVD! 

New Appreciation Of Tupperware... Am I A Tupperholic?

On the weekend I attended my very first tupperware party that my cousin was hosting, when she first told me she was having a tupperware party I was a little disappointed, I mean who could get excited about plastic ?! I told her I would be more then happy to come along but I don't think I can share your enthusiasm and I guess I could buy a new water bottle or something ( I lied I hate plastic water bottles I love using old glass Voss bottles but for her sake I would have bought plastic).

So the unthinkable happened, while I was sipping on my punch in a martini glass and eating home made sassuage rolls I actually real started to enjoy my self listening to all the benefits of tupperware and the important roll they play from keeping your vegetables fresher for longer, which is always a bonus right?

$300.00 latter and I m the proud owner of some pretty (expensive) plastic.. Now I'm just waiting for my Tupperware lady to drop off everybody's order from the party to collect my purchases, I'm pretty desperate for a bake but I'm trying to hold out for my new stuff to play with so I can take some photos and reorganise my allocated kitchen cupboard (I try to eat and bake organically and I need to keep my stuff seprate from my family's other wise it gets used or goes missing blah blah blah and as some of you may know eating organic is expensive).

I haven't even collected my new stuff yet and I'm already planing my next Tupperware haul! I think I'm addicted, I don't know how I'm going to save up or my pink kitchen aid mixer if I'm busy spending my money on Tupperware.

Does any one have any Tupperware products that have made there life a little easier? I'm interested in a smooth chopper but I don't know anyone that actually has one. Any advice would be appreciated!

Essie - Where's My Chauffeur?

Today I received my Essie nail polish I purchased off good old ebay. The color is a Tiffany and Co blue. I have my nails a quick coat excited to try it out you can see the photo above please note I can not paint nails for my life so please ignore my dodgy paint job. I love Essie nail polishes, I love the bottles, the brush, the way my Polish looks streaky when I apply it but drys smooth and opaque. They do not have a lot of colours compared to say OPI but they are gorgeous colours.

I think I need some white bows... Mmm yep I need white bow's to Really try to channel Tiffany and Co for my overseas trip coming up in June and my birthday.

L'Occitane Treat- Cherry Blossom

Look what just arrived this afternoon! My gift pack I ordered online on Tuesday, can I just say I'm quite impressed but the way and amount of effort that went into packaging these product even the note I wrote to my self saying "surprise" (yep I'm a fruitloop) was hand written in perfect script. 

This pack contains

1 Body's wash 250mls 

1 Eau de toilette 100mls 

1 Bar of soap 1.7 oz (I ordered a extra bar of soap that came in the pink tissue paper

1 Hand cream  30mls )

1 body lotion 75mls 

The five items came to a total of $95.00 and its valued at $126.00. I had a spend over $100 and get free shipping that's where my extra bar of soap came in that I will take to my private bathroom in my office. 

Now why I decided I had to buy this product, I was shopping last Saturday and went into a L'0ccitane store and browsing across there product line I came across there Shea butter body wash which I was happy to purchase for $30.00 to try and help keep extra moisturised coming into winter. The sales lady at the counter picked up a sheet of tissue paper sprayed the cherry blossom eau de toilette on there and placed the tissue paper and my body wash in a carry bag and here I m thinking that's such a lovely touch. 10 mins latter walking threw the shopping Center I was like what is that scent I keep smelling I then I lifted up the bag with the body wash in it and figured out it was the tissues paper was and went back into the store to find out what scent it was.... It's a genius sales approach (more sales people need to do this!!) 

To describe the sent of cherry blossom I would have to say it is a very faint clean smelling very light floral and almost musky. I actually hate floral so this was a real surprise that something with blossom in the name isn't deadly floral if that makes any sense. This would be my going to a friends house to vist type perfume or even a sleeping with a partner type sent as it isn't intoxicating it just smells like you have a shower with something beautiful smelling. I don't think you could overdose on it as I had a shower with the body wash, put on the scented lotion, sprayed the perfume on either side of my neck on and my wrists and went straight to a Tupperware party and no one mentioned anything about my perfume.  

The body lotion is a lovely texture it isn't greasy or sits on the surface like some lotions, it does have a shimmer threw out the lotion which transfers on to your body when you use it. It isn't a thick shimmer just enough to make your skin look dewy. 

The body wash I found was very foamy in fact I didn't have to use much at all to get a latter happening and I'm extremely heavy handed with products and when I left the shower I could smell the faint sent on my body.

Blah.Rant.Random.

So I have decided to name this post Blah because is basically how I'm feeling this week
I've had a little case of the grumps since a guy I was seeing stood me up on Monday night and while I was waiting for him I discovered that the Man I used to like and that also randomly stopped talking to me back in January (for no reason) has a new and pretty girlfriend. (He also re-added me back on Facebook today which was strange)
My lovely naturopath / dietician has me driving 2 to 3 litres of salt water a day (yes gross) in order for me to retain some kind of fluid because I'm ridiculous dehydrated and no matter how much water I drink my body wont absorb any of it and its making me feel like I'm cramping to death.
I find when I m in a bad mood I like to download some books on my ipad and just read read read!!!
Sometimes if I'm in a really bad mood I lock the door to my office lay on the floor next to my little heater and read. I turn off or slient computers / phones and the works then when I walk out of my office I just pretend I was focusing on a import an project, Luckily I don't feel the need to do that often.
Thank god I found a good series of books to loose my self in which I m really enjoying. I'm read The Hunger games  I started and finished on Wednesday (yes I read the whole thing in one day) Finished Mockingjay yesterday ( another book in a day) and started reading Catching Fire last night. However I'm feeling more social today so I might head over to a friends tonight for a movie or something.
To top off my week I somehow broke my acrylic nail and real nail in the centre of my nail bed whilst opening a commercial refrigerator door at a cafe this morning. Hurt like a b****, hopefully I can stick something on my crush nail bed so I don't have a cracked stumpy nail I have a tupperware party tomorrow at my cousins house and I refuse to have ugly hands! Look good feel good right?!
I also in my foul mood I went online and bought my self a cherry blossom gift basket from Lo'Occitane, I use there Shea butter ultra rich body wash and its devine in the colder months, but I don't have any pretty smelling body products for those special occasions so that will be delivered today and hopefully break my blah week that I have been having, that and of course my hairdresser blonding me up on Monday.

I'm really happy with this look, I'm falling more in love with the raspberry swirl lipstick every time I wear it! I defiantly want another one of these! I'm quite impressed with my new concealer heavy coverage without the heavy thick feeling no creasing or budging.

Tiramisu Addiction / Craving

A little fact of the day for you all...

I m a major sucker for Tiramisu! If any one has a amazing tiramisu recipe please share it with me and I will be your best friend forever.

Having a "I miss Vegas" moment... (the below photo was taken at the Fire Pit in Paradise LV) I felt the need to comfort eat.

I was passing the cupcake bakery in my local shopping centre and decided  I would have to settle for a  Tiramisu flavoured Cupcake .... It was so Delicious I highly recomened it! In fact I want a dozen instead of a birthday cake this year.

My 100 years of Royal Albert Tea Set- Polka Rose Sandwich Platter

June the 15th 2013 will be 27th birthday and as 27 was my scary age when I was growing up I'm most defiantly freaking the hell out!

I have decided to "commemorate" this mile stone by collecting parts of a tea set from my friends and family.

I have decided on the 100 years of Royal Albert as the collection I would like to collect as this had the most appeal to me as the whole set contains 10 different patterns not just one "floral" or "polka dot" pattern threw out the whole range.  Just for the record I love polka dot's I just don't know if I still will love them as much when I m older.

As David Jones was having a extra 20% off there marked 50% I decided to get my collection organised and informed my family and friends. (OCD MUCH?)

I wanted to be the first to add to my collection as I felt like I should celebrate the fact that  I'm pretty awesome and I have achieved so much so"early" in my life. My contribute was the Polka Rose Sandwich Platter.

You have to love polka dots ! there are so cute.

M.A.C Cosmetics Baking Beauties In Cherry Cherry, Raspberry Swirl And Eclair

I was out shopping as usual and stumbled across the new Baking Beauties limited edition range by M.A.C, since I'm baking up a storm these days I figured it was fate and allowed my self to by a little treat.

On the left we have Raspberry Swirl a cremesheen lipstick, think more pigmented and "candy pink" then Snob and more pastel the Saint Germain (both by M.A.C) lovely creme texture like all cremesheens (hopefully doesn't melt or break like all the others) the color although slightly louder then Snob is still quite soft which it why I liked it so much.. This color is almost a match to lady gaga viva glam pink lip glass that got released a few years ago.

On the right is my new and true love Cherry Cherry... Let me put it this way I tried it bought it then rang around to my other M.A.C stores and bought another 2 over the phone. Amazing! Now I'm not a fan on M.A.C's lip conditioners they do nothing for me and make my lips drier then they were before I applied it. This how ever is the new MINERALISED tinted lip balm, I tried this on in store at around 3pm and is now after 6pm and still looks great and has soften up my lips *bonus*. Now for the actual color that's hard... The texture is much like the old gelee's line they had, it is a soft cool candy pink with a high golden shimmer. Think a cool based NARS Orgasm for the lips. It's application on the lips is clear if you are light handed with the gloss but if your like me and are a little heavy handed you get a very soft pastel glossy pink. LOVE!  

*UPDATE* I picked up my extra cherry cherry's and also the Eclair Paint pot.

Pink Baking Set From Woolworths

Getting dragged to go grocery shopping with my cousin for baking supplies for mothers day eve, I stumbled across the cutest bright baby pink shimmering baking set ever by a brand called Baking House and so well priced it was $6.00 for each piece regardless of what it was so I bought

2  Large Baking Trays
2  23cm Round Spring Cake Trays
2  Muffin Trays that hold 12 Muffins

All for $36.00.. I was a little bummed that they had sold out of the rest of the range which consisted of pies dishes and such. I haven't taken the cardboard and sticky stuff off the actual pieces yet but when I do I will post some photos.

So cute I cant wait to bake something in them for my cousins tupperware party on this coming Saturday (On that note I have been informed that tupperware has released a pink range for breast cancer awareness so I will be stocking up!)

UPDATE* I was passing woolworths on my way home and found out some pie dishes and flat flan dishes they came 2 in a pack for $3.00 so I bought 3sets.

Cute right! I only included one of everything so you can get a genral idea, if you look inside the cake pan you can see the shimmer I was talking about. 

Can't wait to get them washed and all dirty! Hehehe 

Clarisonic Aria

Can I start of by saying I LOVE makeup but I do not wear it every day (I m the only female in a office of men so dolling up for work is trouble) lucky I don't look like death with out it.
I'm a skin care fanatic I have oily combination skin with large open pores that has been driving me  insane since I was a young teenager. I do get many compliments on my skin (and so I should with the amount of money and dedication I spend on it!)

My awesome older brother was off for a boys weekend in vegas and I asked him to swing past Sephora and pick up a tiny little shopping list for me. I did just book him a flight and a hotel, organise some us dollars, insurance, visa, managed to find him some luggage bags, buy him a travel wallet and get him to the airport all in 3 hrs so he owed me big!

On my list of treats I had the Clarisonic Aria in white because I had heard so many great things about it on blogs and youtube video's and in Australia clarisonic's are hard to come by and they also have a large price tag ( I got the Aria in America for the same price of the Mia in Australia ) so I figured it was time to give it a go.

I received my Clarisonic Thursday the 9th of May, attacking the box with much excitement and then found out I had to charge it for 24hr hours... Massive Anticlimax! 

I used the usb cord to charge it up for 24hrs via my laptop. I should add I decided on the Aria as I like to travel frequently and having the charge via usb function as well as international voltage situation was a must.

This morning (10th of May) My Claraionic was up and ready to play! Running to the bathroom all excited I dampened my face with warm water, I foamed (Well as best I could since my my cleanser will not foam) My cleanser (which is ASAP daily cleanser) with my fingers, wet the tip of my clarisonic switched it on and was in heaven.

Note I did not read the instructions, so I could not figure out the the timer that you can switch to either one minute or two minutes. The speeds were easy enough to figure out and the little "beep" that lets you know its time to use on the next section of your face is very clear and I m not sure how any one could miss it as I read on some blogs prior to purchasing. So not knowing how to use the timer I ended up using the one minute timer twice so I could get used to the whole idea of it all.

Honestly it felt great on my skin and I was actually thinking oh no what a waste of money because it wasn't ruff or abrasive as I was expecting (closet microdermabrasion and hydrodermabrasion addict here) after my two one minute cycles I rinsed with warm water and almost died. I felt as if i just walked out of a facial from my favourite laser clinic.

Visibly smaller uncongested pores, slightly smaller open pores and powder soft skin. My cheeks actually have a sheen and the slight shadow under my eyes is slightly brighter.

Once used forever hooked! I m shocked and amazed, this would definitely be a staple item if I was "stranded on a dessert island" that a unlimited power source and replacement brush heads.. Which where another item on my tiny little shopping list.

Now I got mine from Sephora but they are cheaper on ebay when my brother purchased mine it did come with a $25.00 Clarasonic voucher which Im going to use as I'm back in the US of A next month so I will buy something online and send it to my post office box there and pick it up in person.

I will be updating my results as time goes on and attaching photos.

*Update*

19th of May

So still in love with my Clarasonic Aria! I had though I had a Battery issue after using in 4 times in to days I came to use it and the battery was flat, I emailed the Clarisonic resolution  team and the advised me to charge it for another 24 hrs and try again. I followed there advise and it's been running all week with no issues. I also got the number for a Australian resolutions team that Clarisonic recommend if my Aria has another issue. 

The results I have had have been phenomenal, my large blackhead's and pores on my nose have reduced 80 times in size I'm practically poreless there as far as I'm concerned. When I put my foundation on my nose I have to use a beauty blender and "bounce" it on my nose to cover the tiny empty pores that the Clarisonic has uncontested and shrunk. 

My open pores around my mouth aren't as big, they don't seen to flare up as they used to. I'm finding the inner corners of the side of my nose are getting a little dry, maybe I'm over brushing these spots as that is wear my blackheads like to hide. My skin has improved in color my dark spots around my eyes are practically gone and my face looks more appealing all round. I feel like every day I've had a microdermabrasion facial and it's none of the discomfort. Yay!

This is my third attempt to start a blog so please be kind!

I'm a border line 26/27 year old  YOUNG lady that has a passion for all things girly and then I have what I call my dark side ... This dark side includes not liking Rom Com or Chic Flick Movies and not being attracted to Ryan Gosling and Channing Tatum. I prefer my Action / Superhero movies and blood lust tv shows.. I laughed all the way threw the notebook so apparently I have no heart or soul..

I'm Single and a very dedicated Aunty to some teenagers (that I try to set a good example for) and lets face it I have few close friends that I hold dear and in high regard. I grew up on the upper north shore of Sydney Australia and I have no intention of leaving here except for the random week or two overseas.

I'm currently "nesting" which means I'm buying things for when I do move out of home, not that I have any plans of that in the near future but I like to be organized just in case! 

My day to day is running a developing company, becoming more fit and trying to eat health and organically.

You will see that I am crazy and sometimes I don't make sense.
